I’ve been experiencing an interesting issue with my Vera+ setup, and I’m hoping the community can shed some light on it. I’ve noticed that my Vera Lua engine restarts quite frequently—about once a day. To keep track of this, I’ve set up some Lua startup code that sends me an email every time the engine restarts. It’s been a helpful way to monitor the situation, but recently, I’ve noticed something peculiar: whenever I access Vera through my web browser (using Google Chrome), it seems to trigger a reboot of the Vera system. How could accessing Vera via the web browser cause it to restart? I’m genuinely puzzled by this behavior and would love to understand the underlying cause.
I’ve checked the logs, but I’m not seeing anything immediately obvious that explains this behavior. I’ve also tried updating Vera to the latest firmware, but the issue persists. Could it be related to the browser itself, or is there something in Vera’s configuration that’s causing this? I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions from those who might have encountered a similar issue before. If anyone has experienced something like this or knows of a fix, please do share your thoughts!
In the meantime, I’ll continue to monitor the situation and experiment with different browsers to see if the issue is browser-specific. I’ll also look into any recent changes in Vera’s settings or firmware updates that might have introduced this behavior. Any help or advice from the community would be greatly appreciated!
