I’ve been using Vera systems for a couple of years now, managing three vacation homes with Vera Lite and Vera 2 units, each running on UI5. It’s been a seamless experience, especially with my Schlage locks paired with these systems. I’ve assigned specific codes to different users—COA, cleaning crew, and guests—each with unique access. The ability to track when and how often they access the door is a huge plus, but I’m curious if there’s a way to identify exactly who is entering the code.
I’ve noticed that on my Vera 2 system running UI4, there’s a log that clearly shows which user is accessing the lock. It’s such a handy feature, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to replicate this on my Vera Lite system. I’ve checked the logs and alerts, but it only shows the time and date of access, not the specific user.
I’ve tried reaching out to the support team and scoured the forums, but haven’t found a clear solution yet. If anyone has encountered this issue or knows of a workaround, I’d be thrilled to hear about it. I’m hoping there’s a way to integrate this feature without having to upgrade all my systems to UI4.
