I have an Aqara vibration sensor mounted on the side of my refrigerator that used to trigger a action in my smart home.about a few days ago it stopped responding,I reached out to support and even took out the battery and reset the device and still no response.Any tips on how to fix or is it best that I just replace the device?
Hi. Did you also replace the battery with a new one?
Haha yes @JohnD that was my first thought too!
Inside a refrigerator the battery drains fast!…
I’m not sure if he meant in (inside) or on (outside) the refrigerator.
Me too! But inside the battery dies faster . But at all , we still don’t know if the battery was changed yet
I replaced the battery lol and yes its outside on the side of refrigerator
Thanks for clarifying @LLGuapo - and replacing didn’t help?
No lights flashing when the button is pressed for over 5sec
Button flashes but still no response
The sensor has probably just lost connection to the hub. Add the sensor to the Aqara app as you did the first time. Everything should then be as it was before. Make sure that the button continues to flash when adding.
