Wondering if anyone else with a W200 is having this issue. The display on my W200 thermostat typically comes one when it detectors I’m nearby then after few seconds changes over to the screen saver for a few seconds before turning off completely. This morning, I noticed that the display no longer turns off automatically. I now have to manual swipe down on the thermostat and tap the screen off button.
The “Screensaver is Always On” setting is switched off in both the app and in the W200’s menu.
I’ve tried restarting. I’ve tried removing it from the wall itself to complete power down.

Could be a issue with the presence sensing detecting something and thinking its a person. Try turning down the presence sensitivity and see if that helps.
Welcome to the forum! I have a W200 but I leave my screensaver on. I like the @longliveleif suggestion. And if that doesn’t work there are experts here who will want to help.
@91placket_birding Did you recently update to the latest version (4.5.70)? I just updated my thermostat last night and I don’t believe my screen is turning off either now.
Hi there, thanks for the replies. I did update the firmware recently and I’m on 4.5.70_0004. This issue didn’t crop up immediately after updating though. Maybe a couple weeks later.
I actually have the presence sensor setting off. Yesterday I also tried a factory reset and that didn’t help either.
I guess all I can do now is wait for Aqara support to get back to me.
Update: The display is shutting off now. It’s just taking much longer than before the most recent firmware update, about 10 minutes vs about 1 minute or so previously.
I have Presence Detection off. Screen Activation Distance on, close.
Maybe we can get a setting to customize the amount of time before the display shuts off.
Thanks everyone who replied and offered help and suggestions!
