The W200 currently does not support multi-speed fan systems - there is a note on the compatibility post here which says a “higher spec” version is planned with this functionality. Is there any indication of when this might be released?
Alternatively, for those of us with multi-speed fan cool-only systems, OR single stage heat/cool systems, OR without the need for reversing valve, would it be possible to allow re-assignment of these unused W1//W2/Y2/OB terminals to G2/G3 fan control?
Nest and Ecobee both allow a limited amount of flexibility in terminal reconfiguration like this to allow wider compatibility without having a dedicated terminal for each function. For example, Ecobee allows use of Y2 (cooling stage 2) as G2 (fan medium) and W2 (heating stage 2) as G3 (fan high). Nest has a similar option.

Regarding the “higher spec” version with multi-speed fan support — I don’t have any timeline or release information to share on that. Product roadmaps tend to evolve based on demand and technical validation, so I can’t speculate on dates.
Your suggestion about terminal re-assignment is actually pretty clever — using Y2/W2/OB as G2/G3 for fan control is exactly the kind of flexibility that makes Ecobee and Nest appealing for non-standard setups. The W200 currently supports 3 fan speeds for fan coil units , but that’s a different wiring scheme than repurposing unused HVAC stage terminals.
This kind of firmware-level flexibility for terminal remapping would need to go through product and engineering review. Since I can’t make promises about feature implementation or timelines, I’d recommend submitting this directly to the team who can log it properly:

In the meantime, for your multi-speed fan cool-only setup, the current workaround would be using the fan timer mode or keeping your existing Ecobee/Nest for that specific zone if fan speed control is critical.
