Just setup the w200 and I’m loving it, however the screensaver is too dim to easily read from across the room. I’ve disable auto brightness and set it to 100%. The main screen looks great but as soon as the screensaver activates it drops to a level where again it’s hard to make out from a few feet away. Is this expected behavior? Am I missing a setting to correct this?

It’s OLED so you have burn-in issues with a static image that is too bright. One big downfall of the W200.
Hopefully they release a new thermostat with LCD like every other thermostat (Nest, Ecobee, Honeywell, etc) uses; there is a reason for that when displaying near-static images all day, which a thermostat does.
I get why OLED is better display tech generally, but not for this application.

In the new version, we will better optimize this issue through software improvements. Stay tuned — the estimated timeline is September.
