I installed the W200 yesterday and cannot get the screensaver to display. The thermostat screen just shuts off after the set time and does not display anything. How can I get it to display the screensaver? I used to glance at my ecobee to see the temperature and want to have similar functionality with the W200.
The Aqara W200’s capabilities are impressive, but some users may prefer the multi-sensor functionality offered by Ecobee.
Does the Aqara W200 support integration with Siri, similar to the Ecobee Thermostat?
Try turning off (EDIT: on!) “Always-on standby” under w200 settings > thermostat settings > display and brightness > screensaver.
That keeps the display from turning off
W200 does support multi-sensor functionality. Currently you can set the sensor based on schedule, but they have said they will roll out sensor averaging in an upcoming firmware.
No it doesn’t.
It was already off, but that got me thinking. I turned it on and now it displays the screensaver! Seems counterintuitive but it works.
Great! I knew it was that setting.
I let my screen turn off when not used, and for some reason my setting is on, so I told you backwards.
