I created a few automations to control my W200 via the Home app, but it seems like a temperature of 80F is being randomly set every time some of my automations run.
Here’s my current setup
- Few very simple automations “if time is X, set temperature to Y”
- Disabled adaptive temperature
- Disabled Energy setting5
- Aqara Smart schedules controlled via Apple Schedule
Two of my automations trigger an incorrect cooling of 80F being set, for no apparent reason, other automations work fine.
Any ideas? I’ve attached screenshots with everything I have in my settings.

Apple Home thermostat settings are so confusing, it drives me craZy.
Try re-enabling Adaptive Temperature and then go in to Home, Away, Night and Extended Temperature settings and remove the 80° setting. Also in each mode select Cool, Heat and Auto and look for the 80° number being used.
I realize you don’t have it enabled but look into it anyway. The way Apple handles or controls the Thermostat is confusing to me. I had the same issues when I first switched over to the W200

Can you show us a screenshot of your automations for 9 PM, 11 PM and 5 AM?
If you change your “Home” profile in Aqara to say 78°, will these automations take that up? If so, the issue could reside there. I’m not suggesting this should be the case, but that troubleshooting could start ruling out conflicts and bugs.
The other thing that throws me off is the log that says 9:00 PM Set Heating Temperature 69°F.

These are my automations on Homekit app, nothing complex, simple “if time is X, temp should be Y”
And yes, I changed the Aqara preset modes temperatures to some random numbers to ensure no overlap with the same numbers but I still get the random 80F temperature being set:
Here’s the logs for today, at 5:00am my temperature should’ve been set 75F but instead a random temp was set at 80F when my automation is clearly not set at 80F, neither my preset modes from Aqara. Ironically the Off automation worked as expected:
And I also get those random presence/no-presence events all the time when no one is clearly moving at home

I forgot to add this screenshot: I also removed all smart schedules from the Aqara App just to be sure there was no conflicts, but the 80F temperature still was set:
