I managed to get soft sensors set up and it’s been really great! Having control to publish values, switch, or average whichever I want has been something neither Nest nor any other thermostat could do.
But I do have to publish the same value twice and average them. Did I overlook any tricks to using a single matter temperature sensor directly?
Oh, and is there any point in sending custom humidity measurements? I’m not sure if the W200 uses that for anything with soft sensors.
