Hi, I am new here and to home automation. After much research, I found the only wired matter over thread doorbell cam; the G410. So I jumped in and bought many Aqara products.
I have been quite happy with all of them. I have to admit that having both the Aqara app and the Home app has caused me quite a bit of confusion.
I did have my W400 thermostat in both Home and Aqara apps. Somehow, I have lost the thermostat in the Home app. I cannot figure out how to get it back into the Home app.
I get to the screen in the Aqara app for connecting to the Home app hut connecting fails.

Are they on the same WiFi network? Do you use any WiFi repeaters that create another network?
The hub and the camera need to be connected to the same WiFi/network - they can use Ethernet, but they still must be connected to the same subnet.

Yes, everything is on the same network. I just deleted my entire home in the Home app. Then started from scratch. Everything is fine now.
