Hi Aqara,
Recently installed a W500 in Zigbee mode directly to an M3.
When I setup the thermostat I set the floor material to Wood, Carpet, Vinyl and NTC value to 10K.
All’s working well, except that when ever I go into the device in the Aqara app I receive the following message / alert.
Is there any reason this keep appearing and if not, please can this be disabled after the initial setup?
Hello, sorry, I didn’t read carefully, I thought it was about the general group. Another question, is NTC native or the old one that was in your system before?
I’ve gone back in and selected other options and then reset them to be needed options. Since then, the error message hasn’t re-appeared but I’ll keep an eye on it.
Yes, that’s right. I tested it myself and also saw it. I just didn’t have time to write it down. I’ll explain the algorithm.
When you connect the W100 thermostat control for the first time, the W500 wants to warn you that the control via NTC may be incorrect (overheating of the floor with subsequent breakdown of the heating system). Therefore, the W500 wants to see the action with the selection of the floor type so that the responsibility for the heating parameters (fireplace, wood…) is under your control.
Sorry for signing later.
