What is the W500’s sampling frequency for temperature and humidity and how can it be adjusted?
I have four W500s and they all have flat lines when it comes to temperature despite me knowing that there are always small fluctuations.
On the other end, all of my three FP300s show correctly fluctuations…
@tic_domino_4h The Aqara Floor Heating Thermostat W500’s temperature and humidity reporting frequency is greater than or equal to 0.5°C / 1ºF (temperature) and 3%RH (humidity), and it is configurable.
Regarding how to adjust the sampling frequency, the current reference information does not provide specific operation steps. The “flat lines” you observed in temperature may be related to this reporting threshold—small fluctuations below 0.5°C might not trigger a report immediately, resulting in relatively stable curve display.
For detailed adjustment methods or to troubleshoot the flat line issue further, you can contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:

Hello, after analyzing my temperature graph, I came to the conclusion that the data transfer period is 7 minutes or a temperature change of 1°C.
So it’s not because a reading is on the cloud log that the reading was sent to the controller. The readings on my cloud log isn’t those sent to Home Assistant or Apple Home.
Is it ok, that sampling rate of w500 in my case is about 10 times per minute for ntc sensor?
Hello, you do not have a native NTC sensor. If possible, change it to a native one.
Do you mean that sampling rate depends on the type of ntc sensor?
