Please can you provide an expected release date for the above 2 products in the UK?

Thanks!

Hello @2SC_UK
Unfortunately, there is no exact date, but I think that during the IFA2025 exhibition or after it, more detailed information about the launch dates of new products, including those that interest you, will be available. Stay with us and follow the news here on the forum and official social networks of aqara. There is still a lot of interesting things ahead.

Patiently waiting to replace 10+ double sockets with these!
Very exciting.

I’m really excited for these outlets.

But also, did I see that they aren’t currently planning a multi-plug extension lead for the UK as I’d really love to buy a few 4 or 6 gang plugs?

I read the press release about these but couldn’t find them on the website. This explains why. I’m looking forward to swapping out a few old plug sockets with these. :grinning:

Hey @Raman.V any update? Got my kitchen being fully refitted in 2 weeks and hoping to have Aqara switches installed but still no update? Looks like I’ll have to go for smart plugs from another supplier :frowning:

Ā£70 each

What an absolute joke

I got my hands on a 3-pack and using a discount code I managed to bag them for just under Ā£54 each. I know thay are not cheap but I really want to see how they perform against the best the UK can provide… Li…W…rf :tada:

I have two rooms in my home still using dumb sockets, I will use these to compare performance but I’ve had my existing smart socket and switches for well over 5 years now and they are amazing… but more expensive!

they are taking the piss with this, do they not understand these are not something you just buy one or two of. If I’m swapping my sockets I’m changing a large amount and at this price its just not viable.

Absolutely agree Ā£70 is an absolute joke, I have another smart socket from bg about 6years old and it was nowhere near this price though it didn’t monitor power usage

I was going to buy 7 until I saw the price. £70 each!

Ā£700 :rage:

You can save a bit if you buy a bundle with 3 double USB-C sockets at a discount. It’s not a lot but you will save a few quid.

Just out of interest, What price point were you expecting?

Normal smart sockets tend to be £20-30 so maybe £40 for something a bit smarter?

Seems like it’s been over-engineered with having 2 high powered USB-C ports. I see a single USB-C port version will be coming soon (not released yet) but a standard non-USB port option would be great when USB no needed. Maybe the ā€œbulkā€ pricing method of a single option could have kept the price lower?

The single USB version is on Amazon for £68.

My existing 2 gang sockets don’t have USB and they are Ā£80 each. At the time they were the only real option for HomeKit compatibility in the UK. They are top quality so you get what you pay for.

I’m happy to get these for just under Ā£54 each. If they are going for quality then it’s a not bad price.

I put these in the basket when Ā£54 each and the next day the discount was gone. Given some of the reviews and the Ā£69 price tag, I think I will hold fire until the firmware is more mature/reviews appear more positive. Shame the code wasn’t valid a little longer, I’ve been waiting a while for these and would have bought a number of them
