Water control module in plans?

Is Aqara planning to develop a water control module for outdoor irrigation — such as a smart valve or irrigation controller — that integrates with its existing ecosystem (Zigbee, HomeKit, etc.)? I’m looking for a solution to automate my garden watering, ideally with options to trigger based on weather or soil moisture sensors.

@dany_lescarbeau At the moment, there isn’t specific information available in the reference documents about Aqara developing a dedicated water control module for outdoor irrigation. However, the Aqara Valve Controller T1 can be used to control irrigation systems. Do note that it’s not waterproof, making it less suitable for direct outdoor valve installations. It does, however, integrate with various ecosystems such as Apple Home and Google Home through compatible Aqara hubs, which might allow automation with weather or soil moisture sensors from other brands.

I recommend keeping an eye on Aqara’s announcements for any new products that might suit your needs. Also, the community here is a great resource, so other users might have creative solutions or workarounds they’ve implemented. Feel free to share your thoughts or setup ideas!

As mentioned by the Bot, the only water valve currently is the T1. I have one of those controlling my outside water line and just use an Automation to turn that on for a few minutes every day. One of my outside faucets feeds my irrigation system.
