Does anyone else have problems getting old water leak sensors to work reliably with the new Hub3? Some of my older sensors are constantly giving false alarms, and I think it’s because the sensor model is outdated. I guess I need the T1 model sensors?
Hey, I have both models successfully and without any problems added to my M3 .
I only can imagine that there are issues by distance or blocked signals … but this shouldn’t affect and wrong alarm
Also an empty battery can bring some problems… but shouldn’t start an alarm…
But maybe it’s the surface it’s placed on it?!
Did you already do some troubleshooting like bringing it closer to the hub or and put it on a new surface… and change batteries
I have the same as @DEChrisE using them without any issues. It could be a troublesome battery or maybe the sensor is gone faulthy. It should not be an issue with the m3 hub.
Thanks for the answers. At first I thought it is because of distance, but the problem continues even if I put the sensors next to the hub. I changed the batteries and the surface is also ok.
I have many sensors and the problem happens with several of them. I am using the Aqara Home app. Strange, but good to know they should work together.
My Hub 3 is connected with Ethernet and the router is next to it, maybe it is disturbing the hub.
