Maybe someone faced same issue and can help me out.
I had one water leak sensor under a sink to detect when a leak happens and it worked. Maybe 1 year passed when I used it.
I needed one more for another application so I opened a brand new one to find out that both sensors report only “Water receding” now. And sends “water leak” message when I push the physical button down while in water.
I tried the following:
- removed added device again.
- removed both devices add only one.
- removed battery and left the sensors to dry (not in contact with water all this time but i tried).
- changed batteries even though the sensor was reporting normal battery.
same issue.
Help is Appreciated.

I try to reproduce this issue- please tell me which hub do you use, and which water leak sensor- the old version or new T1 with zigbee 3.0?
Maybe make a video for me too
Well I have all my water leaks are mixers some Chinese and EU versions but they are the old once not the T1 and as you can see today one of them that I use as rain sensor it detected well the water so for me on my end using M3 hub and the latest update for Aqara app works perfectly.my be you could show some logs from you sensor and see what shows

Agree with @coccolino_26 and @DEChrisE. I have 6 sensors across the house. 3 are connected to M3 and M200 hubs. Both have been in place for about a year without issue.
