Weishaupt Heat Pump Modbus Configuration Shared

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a great day. I wanted to share something that might be helpful for those of you who are working with Weishaupt heat pumps and Modbus integration. I’ve been working on configuring my Weishaupt WBB heat pump with Modbus support, and I thought it might be useful to share my setup with the community.

After a firmware update in 2022, my heat pump gained Modbus support, which I’ve been utilizing ever since. I’ve put together a detailed configuration that allows for reading and writing various parameters from the heat pump. This includes system status, heating circuit data, hot water settings, and more. I’ve been running this configuration for quite some time now, and it’s been working smoothly.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s included:

  • System Parameters: Outdoor temperature sensors, error codes, system status, and operation mode.
  • Heating Circuit 1: Room temperature setpoints, actual temperatures, humidity, and various configuration settings.
  • Hot Water: Temperature settings, push mode, and other operational parameters.
  • Pump Control: Various settings for the circulation pump, including power levels and volume flow rates.
  • Statistics: Energy consumption tracking for heating, cooling, and hot water over different time periods.

If anyone is interested in implementing this or needs assistance with Modbus configuration for their Weishaupt heat pump, feel free to reach out! I’d be happy to help with any questions or provide further details. :handshake:

And if there’s interest, I can also assist in translating the configuration files and mappings to English, as they’re currently in German. Let me know!
