What are some things you love about Aqara?

Hello, all!

I’ve been a smart home/automation nerd going on 10 years now. I am an Apple loyalist, so integration into HomeKit is a must for any products in my house. I got my first Aqara product, the U100 Lock, a few years back and was really impressed with the quality for the price and the (mostly) seamless integration into HomeKit. I have since added the G410 doorbell and several Aqara smart bulbs.

My current focus when it comes to smart home stuff is trying to replace the 20+ accessories than require a WiFi connection with a comparable Matter over Thread device.

I do have a general question for the group:
Given that I primarily use HomeKit to control my devices and setup automations, is there any benefit to me pairing devices to the Aqara M3 hub vs just using my AppleTV as my main Hub? I know that it can enable some extra features on the Aqara app, but I’m wondering if there is a noticeable difference in reliability (specifically recovery time after a power outage).
