What is the best Aqara product you own? Looking for recommendations for a new home.

Well, I guess my coolest gadgets are the G410 Doorbell Cam. But it’s a tie really with my Thermostat W200 as both are central to my home. BUT…
No product is great by itself! My cameras, doors, leak sensors, thermostat, lights, and presence sensors have to all work as a single home system.

You should always start with what do you want to achieve?

However, an easy one is the G400 Doorbell Cam and U200 Door lock, powered over mains.

next, I’d look at Presence sensors (FP400) and Lights.

Hi Oscar,

for me it’s the Spatial Multi Sensor FP400. To be transparent, I got it through the forum trial, but I would buy it again. It detects presence even when you’re sitting completely still, it measures brightness, and you can set up zones inside a room. That means one sensor can do the work of several.

My surprise favorite is the much simpler Door and Window Sensor P2 on our garage door. Combined with a reminder at 8 pm and 9 pm, our garage hasn’t stayed open overnight since I installed it.

For a new home, I would start with a good hub like the M3 and a presence sensor for the rooms you use most. You’ll quickly see what else you need from there.

Yes, and if it’s a new build then run ethernet everywhere; some of it POE.

For me it’s definitely the U200! I love the simple way to get entrance to my home!
So now I’m also looking forward to the successor of it - the U250 :wink:

For me, it has to the Aqara Dual Relay Module T2. I’m using it make a dumb Heat Recovery Ventelation unit a smart one using the dry contacts.
