What is the expected battery life for FP300?

I’m concerned about the battery life, although I absolutely love being able to place this sensor anywhere!!

Powered by two CR2450 batteries, the FP300 runs for up to 3 years on Zigbee or 2 years on Thread, so you won’t be changing batteries often. Need even longer life? Turn off unused sensors* to save more power.
