I would love to have an AI option in the Aqara Home App or a third party app that analyzes my automations and scenes and finds logical incompatibilities that prevent them working flawlessly, finds incompatibilities with other ecosystems( Apple Home,eWelink, etc) and makes suggestions which automation or scene is better controlled in a different ecosystem. Analyzes my network and shows weak spots and suggest improvements or variants of connecting devices to a specific hub or gateway.
On hardware line I like the upcoming devices, hope on software side they bring the expected quality .
I would love to see matter smoke detectors for the US market, both powered and batteries. It would be interesting to get smoke and CO detection, bundled along with other existing sensors like presence, temperature, and humidity.
Radon detection would be a good optional capability. It’s in the matter spec, but there are no matter compatible detectors on the market.
Battery camera and new doorbell!
- Aqara Single Switch Module to support by default 3680 watt 16A, to be able to turn my dumb outlets in smart outlets, without the need of replacing them completely
Agree with this. An outdoor flood light with matter over thread. This combined with your forthcoming P100 multi-sensor would allow me to light up our side yard when somebody enters our gate.
With Google’s discontinuation of the Nest Protect, and given how underwhelming their “replacement” by First Alert is I think the opportunity is ripe for another vendor (cough Aqara cough) to make a smoke and CO2 detector that supports Matter over Thread. Please also include the light that turns on when somebody walks by in the night.
You have that in the FP300 already ![]()
Matter OTA using Distributed Compliance Ledger (DCL) to be able to update firmwares without Aqara app.
I’d love to see a small (preferably battery operated) light sensor. There are a number of multi-sensors but not much in the way of light detection. Best case, something I could set near a windows that had automated shades/blinds to trigger closure when the sun hits the window and raises them when the sun is about to go down.
I would love to see that as well. I have a few friends who would be happy to switch out their aging nests.
Triple gang no neutral wall switch to be available in the UK please…
Homekit connected window shades
II’m so jealous, but you deserve it.
She looks great.
Why not Matter window shades instead?
- Something that would sense if you had a water pipe burst in your home
- Smart valve for a drip irrigation system / regular irrigation.
Not in present every country, also stock out others
Possibility to check the Unlock method = Fingerprint, PIN, NFC for automations.
MacOS widget would be fantastic!
