I m hoping I can link my smartlock to trigger and the sensor to turn on automatically my hue lights to whatever room i go to.

I have my smartlock trigger my aqara switch to my mudroom after unlock. I also have a presence sensor that turns on and off when Iām putting shoes on.
I would love to go further than just turning a room on or off.
My Home Assistant setup already uses Aqara presence sensors for climate control and Aqara door sensors to give my blind automations more context. Philips Hue handles the lighting throughout the house.
If the FP400 can reliably tell where people are in a room, I would like the lighting to respond naturally. The area someone is using could become brighter while lights in unused areas dim down. When several people are present, the room could adapt to them instead of following one fixed scene.
I would also connect that information to my climate and shading logic. My ideal automation is one that works so naturally that nobody notices it. The room simply feels right.
