I just bought a bunch and I’m trying to do more than just the lights and lock
@mkultra_home It’s awesome that you’re diving into more creative uses for your Aqara sensors! Beyond lights and locks, there are some clever automations you might find useful. For example, the Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 can help detect if your existing AC is turned on to avoid triggering redundant “turn AC on” automations, or even save energy by turning off the thermostat when doors/windows are left open. Have you experimented with any unique sensor pairings yet? Feel free to share—curious to hear what creative setups you come up with
Hi, my latest idea is to use a temperature sensor as an indicator of whether the air conditioner is working or not, by placing it near the air outlet louvers. ![]()
One issue I’m facing now is my vibration sensor suddenly stopped working even though the battery is 100% and I’ve only had the device for 2 months.tried everything I possibly could, even asked for tips and suggestions on the Aqara forum and still as we speak noting has helped.
