Hi,
My wife feels like “all these LED bulbs suck, they aren’t bright enough”. Personally I want proper lighting, with lamps and without intense spotlights raining down on us from above. Multi bulb lamps have been helping, but I would like to buy a above dinning table modern hanging lamp, that only has one bulb. The current one is a cheesy with five 40w (equiv) bulbs, dimmable and controlled by the three button Aqara H2 (US). If I need to replicate 200w, what do I do? So far I have made every effort to say with a single vendor. I’m using Apple Home and a Aqara M3 hub.
The T2 bulb (E27 version) has up to 1100 lumens. A 200W incandescent bulb has about 3000 lumens.
If you want to use pure white with dimming, consider using a “dumb” dimmable lightbulb (incandescent, LED, or whatever you want) + Aqara Dimmer H2.
It will let you make the dumb dimmable bulbs smart. The benefit of this solution is that you can use a really powerful bulb. Downside is that you won’t have RGB or white temperature control, just dimming + on/off
Hello, I have six Aqara T1 lamps in the living room. Connected to a dumb switch (On/Off). I bought a wireless Aqara button for 4 channels and it controls the lighting perfectly. Here is a video (60 seconds) that clearly demonstrates the operation of the lamp and the automation associated with this issue. By the way, a fairly budget version of the lamps.
