Hey everyone, I’ve been using my wildlife cameras to monitor the critters around my property, and it’s been a blast! I’ve spotted raccoons, squirrels, and even the occasional hawk or owl. But lately, I’ve noticed something odd—my cameras aren’t capturing any wildlife events anymore. It’s a bit disappointing because I was really enjoying seeing who was visiting my backyard.
I’ve gone through the detection settings multiple times, tweaking sensitivity and motion zones, but nothing seems to make a difference. The camera still picks up things like branches moving or car headlights in the distance, so it’s definitely working, just not for wildlife. I’m not even getting events for people walking by, which is strange because I know people occasionally pass through the area.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? I’m wondering if it could be an issue with the camera’s software or maybe some kind of interference. I’ve also heard that wildlife can sometimes become less active in certain seasons, but I’m not sure if that’s the case here.
I’d really appreciate any tips or advice on how to get my wildlife camera back to working properly. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a calibration step I haven’t tried yet. Let me know if you’ve dealt with this before or have any suggestions!
Thanks in advance for your help!
