Wired Cameras: A Solution to WiFi Strain

As I’ve been wiring my attic, I’ve been reflecting on the constant strain my Wyze cameras put on my WiFi network. With 12 cameras running, it’s no wonder my WiFi struggles to keep up. I’ve always wondered why more cameras aren’t available with a simple Ethernet plug instead of relying on adapters. It would make setup so much easier and reduce the burden on my network.

I’ve heard great things about wired cameras, but they often come with their own set of challenges. For instance, finding the right placement and ensuring the cables are secure can be a hassle. However, the benefits of a more reliable and consistent video stream definitely outweigh the initial setup effort.

If anyone has experience with wired cameras or tips on how to integrate them seamlessly into a smart home setup, I’d love to hear about it! It’s always inspiring to see how others have solved similar problems.

On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with integrating my heat water system with a Sonoff device. It’s been mostly smooth, but there have been a few instances where the system turned on without any clear trigger. I’m curious if others have encountered similar issues and how they’ve resolved them. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Overall, it’s amazing how much technology has advanced in the smart home space. Each challenge I face is an opportunity to learn and improve my setup. I’m excited to see what solutions the community can come up with for these common issues. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
