I recently installed a system with 12 Wiser TRVs and 4 Wiser plugs. Shortly after installation, I noticed an issue where one of the TRVs wouldn’t close properly, even after being replaced. The problem persisted, leading me to believe that the battery-powered motor in the TRVs might not be powerful enough to fully close the valves. This has been frustrating, especially since traditional manual TRVs work perfectly in the same setup.
I’ve considered adding an inline manual flow control to manage pressure, but it feels like a workaround rather than a solution. After 7 months, another TRV started having the same issue, reinforcing my concerns about the product’s reliability.
