Wyze Application Audio Interruption Issue Solved

I recently encountered an issue with the Wyze application on my iPhone, where it would stop any ongoing audio playback, such as music or podcasts, whenever I launched the app. This was quite frustrating, especially when I just wanted to quickly turn on a light or plug without interrupting my current audio stream. After some research and reaching out to Wyze support, I found that this behavior is currently a known issue without a direct setting to resolve it. However, I discovered a workaround that has been working well for me: using the app in a ‘listen-only’ mode when I don’t need to interact with the camera feeds. This way, my audio continues uninterrupted unless I specifically engage with a camera that requires audio. It’s a small tweak, but it makes a big difference in my daily routine. I hope Wyze considers implementing a more seamless solution in future updates!
