Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I’ve been experiencing some frustrating issues with my Wyze Bulbs, specifically the WLPA19 model. I’d love to hear if anyone else is facing similar problems and if there are any effective solutions out there.
So, the setup: I have three Wyze Bulbs mounted on a lamp post outside my home. Two of them are working perfectly, but the third one is giving me trouble. It stays connected when it’s off but gets disconnected after being on for a while. This is perplexing because even when it’s offline, I can still ping it, which means it’s technically connected to the Wi-Fi.
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps: replacing the problematic bulb with a spare, swapping their positions on the lamp post, and even adjusting their proximity to the Wi-Fi router. Unfortunately, none of these fixes have resolved the issue.
I’m starting to wonder if there’s an underlying cause, like heat affecting the bulb’s connectivity or some form of interference between the bulbs. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
If you’ve had similar problems, I’d love to hear what steps you took to resolve them. Whether it’s a software update, a specific placement tip, or a workaround, your insights would be invaluable! Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can get these bulbs working reliably.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions! ![]()
