Hey everyone, I’ve been really enjoying my Wyze bulbs—they’re such a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve run into this frustrating issue where one of my bulbs keeps flickering when I try to dim it, either through the remote or the app. It works perfectly fine at 100% brightness, but anything below that and it starts flickering. I’ve tried a few things to fix it, but nothing seems to work. I’d love to hear if anyone else has experienced this and how they resolved it!
First off, I checked if the bulb was properly connected and if there were any loose wires, but everything seems fine on that front. I also tried resetting the bulb by unplugging it and waiting a bit before plugging it back in, but that didn’t make a difference either. I even went through the steps of factory resetting the bulb through the Wyze app, but the flickering issue persisted.
I’ve also reached out to Wyze support, and they mentioned that this could be a hardware issue, but I’m hoping there’s a software fix or a workaround I can try before sending the bulb back for a replacement. I’ve heard that sometimes firmware updates can resolve such issues, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for any updates from Wyze.
In the meantime, I’ve been using the bulb at full brightness, which works for now, but it’d be great to have the dimming feature working properly. If anyone has any tips or tricks they’ve used to fix flickering issues with their Wyze bulbs, I’d be super grateful to hear about them!
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer. I’m really hoping to get this sorted out so I can fully enjoy all the features my Wyze bulbs have to offer!
