Hey everyone, I’ve been having an interesting issue with my Wyze Cam 2 cameras and I’m hoping someone might have some insight or a workaround. I’ve set up five of these cameras to turn on each night at 9:00 PM using rules in Home Assistant. The problem is that every time they turn on, they immediately send a motion detection notification. I’ve tried adjusting the motion sensitivity settings to the minimum, but the notifications still come through.
I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this behavior or if there’s a setting I’m missing that could prevent these false notifications. It’s a bit frustrating because it defeats the purpose of having them automatically turn on without unnecessary alerts. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Dave.
