I’ve been a long-time fan of Wyze cameras, and I must say, the Wyze Cam 3 has completely transformed how I approach home security. I currently have three Cam 3 units set up around my property, each monitoring a different area. The one at my front door has been flawless, providing clear footage and reliable notifications. However, I encountered a bit of a hiccup with the front yard camera—it wasn’t showing events as expected. This was a bit concerning, especially since my house is located near a problematic laundromat. After some troubleshooting, I realized it was a minor configuration issue, and now it’s working like a charm!
The third camera, which covers the other side of my house, initially gave me some pause as well. It wasn’t displaying events, only a slider for manual playback. But after reaching out to support and doing some research, I discovered that enabling the right settings resolved the issue. I’m now confident that all three cameras are functioning as they should.
One feature I particularly love is the Cam Plus subscription, which offers enhanced video quality and cloud storage. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind, especially with recent attempted break-ins at my property. I’m even planning to add two more cameras to cover blind spots I’ve identified.
While I’ve encountered a few bumps along the way, the Wyze Cam 3’s overall performance has been outstanding. The video quality is crisp, the motion detection is accurate, and the integration with my smart home ecosystem has been seamless. I can’t recommend these cameras enough for anyone looking to bolster their home security setup.
