I’ve been using Wyze Cams as baby monitors for a while now, and I must say, they’ve been a lifesaver. The video quality is great, and the motion detection is reliable, which gives me peace of mind knowing I can check in on the little one anytime. However, I’ve noticed that the camera’s night vision could be a bit brighter, especially in complete darkness. I’ve had to adjust the position a couple of times to get the best coverage. One feature I’d love to see Wyze add is a built-in “OK to Wake” indicator, similar to the standalone product I’ve been using alongside it. The idea is that the camera could light up in a soft color when it’s an acceptable time for the kids to get out of bed, which would streamline our bedtime routine. It could even double as a nightlight, which would be a nice bonus.I’d also appreciate a more intuitive way to customize alerts and notifications. Sometimes, the motion detection can be a bit too sensitive, leading to unnecessary alerts during the night. A feature that allows for more granular control over sensitivity and notification thresholds would be fantastic.Overall, I’m really happy with how Wyze Cams have performed as baby monitors. They’re affordable, easy to set up, and integrate well with other smart home devices. I’m hopeful that Wyze continues to innovate and add features that make these cameras even more versatile and user-friendly.Has anyone else used Wyze Cams for baby monitoring? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any creative solutions you’ve come up with to enhance their functionality!
