Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience setting up multiple Wyze Cams for my family. It’s been a fun and rewarding project, and I thought I’d walk through the process in case it helps someone else. 
First off, I purchased a starter set of seven Wyze Cams for my mom’s house. Setting up one cam was a breeze, but when I realized I’d have to reconfigure each one individually for her home’s network, I panicked a bit. 
After some quick research, I stumbled upon a feature that allows bulk SSID/password changes for existing cameras. It’s a lifesaver! 
Here’s what I learned:
- Bulk Configuration: If you’re setting up multiple cameras for different locations, make sure to test the bulk SSID/password change feature. It saved me hours of manual setup!
- Network Stability: Ensure the network at your mom’s house is stable before bulk configuring. A weak connection can cause some cameras to drop out of the group.
- Firmware Updates: Always check for firmware updates before making any bulk changes. It ensures everything runs smoothly.
I also had a funny moment when I accidentally set all the cameras to my home network instead of my mom’s. Oops! But the bulk change feature made it easy to fix.
