Hello everyone, I recently installed a Wyze Cam 3 and Cam Plus doorbell, and I must say, they’ve been a great addition to my home security setup. The video quality is excellent, and the motion detection works like a charm. However, I encountered a peculiar issue that I thought I’d share in case others are experiencing the same thing.
A few weeks ago, after adding a second chime to my doorbell, I started getting a ‘MicroSD Card Not Found’ error on my Cam 3 when trying to view playback. This was puzzling because I never used a MicroSD card with Cam 3 and had the setting disabled all along. The doorbell also showed a connection error, but refreshing it would temporarily fix the issue.
I tried several troubleshooting steps: deleting and re-adding the devices, resetting them, and even updating the firmware. The problem persisted until I finally decided to remove all devices from my account, power them off, and re-add them one by one. Miraculously, Cam 3 started working again without the MicroSD error, and the doorbell connection issues resolved as well.
This experience taught me the importance of彻底重新安装设备,尤其是在遇到奇怪的错误时。我也意识到,有时候花时间彻底排查问题比急于求成更有效。
For anyone else dealing with similar issues, I recommend:
- Double-checking firmware updates
- Ensuring all settings are correctly configured
- Performing a factory reset if problems persist
It’s always a bit nerve-wracking when devices malfunction, but taking a systematic approach to troubleshooting can make all the difference. I’m glad I stuck with it and got everything working smoothly again!
If anyone has additional tips or experiences with Wyze cameras, I’d love to hear them. Happy smart home tinkering everyone! ![]()
