Hey everyone, I’ve been experimenting with Wyze Cams lately and wanted to share my experiences and ask for some advice! I’ve been using these cameras for a while now, but I’ve always struggled with finding the perfect mounting solution, especially when I want to angle them slightly to avoid reflections or get the best view of a particular area.
I remember when I first started setting up my cameras, reflections were a huge issue, especially at night when the lights inside were on, and it was dark outside. I had to get creative with my mounting solutions, but nothing seemed to work perfectly. I’ve seen some third-party mounts on Amazon, but most of them don’t allow for much flexibility, especially when it comes to angling the camera without blocking the view.
I came across the official Wyze window mount, but it doesn’t seem to solve the angling problem either. It works great when the camera is flush against the glass, but as soon as I try to tilt it, the reflections become a problem again. I was hoping someone might have found a prefab solution or even a DIY hack that allows for more flexible mounting options.
Another thing I’ve been curious about is whether it’s possible to use Wyze Cams on multiple devices simultaneously. I have an iPhone, an iPad, and another iPhone, and it would be amazing if I could monitor all my cameras across these devices without any issues. I’ve heard mixed things about this, so I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully done this and how they set it up!
