Hey everyone, I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve recently encountered an issue with the motion detection feature on my outdoor camera. The camera is positioned to monitor my garage door, but it doesn’t detect motion when the door opens or closes. It does pick up movement on the driveway, but even that’s inconsistent at times.
For instance, my son walked up the driveway, opened the garage door, backed out the car, and drove away without the camera detecting anything. This is quite concerning, especially for security purposes. I’ve reached out to Wyze support, but they haven’t been able to resolve the issue yet.
I’m wondering if others have faced similar problems and if there are any workarounds or solutions. Have you had success with motion detection on your Wyze cameras, or have you encountered similar issues? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
