Hey everyone, I wanted to share something I’ve noticed with my Wyze cameras lately. I’ve been using the Wyze Cam v4, Pan v1, and Cam v3 for quite some time now, and I’ve always been impressed with their night vision capabilities. However, over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed that the night vision on my Pan v1 camera just isn’t cutting it like it used to.
The images I’m getting at night are significantly less clear compared to what I was used to. I’ve checked the settings multiple times, but adjusting the night vision options doesn’t seem to make any difference. I’m starting to wonder if this is a common issue or if something might be wrong with my specific unit.
I’ve attached some screenshots from different times of the day to give you a better idea of what I’m experiencing. The top image is from the Cam v4, the middle from the Pan v1, and the bottom from the Cam v3. All cameras are in the exact same positions, so the difference is pretty glaring.
Has anyone else noticed similar issues with their Wyze cameras? I’d love to hear if this is a known problem or if there’s a fix I’m missing. I really don’t want to give up on these cameras—they’ve been such a reliable part of my smart home setup. Fingers crossed the community can shed some light on this!
