Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Wyze cameras I’ve set up around my home. Overall, I’ve been really impressed with their performance and ease of use. I recently installed five of them, and they’ve been working perfectly ever since—until last night, that is.
We had some rain here, and while it was nothing too severe, I noticed that one of my cameras, which is mounted under the garage eave in an all-weather housing, went offline. I was pretty sure the housing was up to the task, but apparently, the weather had other plans. The camera was still working during the rain, but after it stopped, it just didn’t come back online.
I’m really hoping this is just a temporary glitch and not a more serious issue. I’ve tried restarting the camera and checking the connections, but nothing seems to be working so far. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, especially with cameras in outdoor setups. Did the weather affect your devices in any way?
I’d love to hear if there are any troubleshooting steps I might have missed or if there’s a known fix for this kind of issue. The camera in question is crucial for monitoring the garage area, so getting it back up and running is pretty important to me. Thanks in advance for any advice or insights you can share!
