Hey everyone, I hope this finds you all well! I wanted to share a thought regarding the Wyze Cam OG and its recent addition of a robotic voice for firmware updates. While I appreciate the innovation and effort put into these devices, I must admit that the voice notifications can be quite disruptive, especially in quieter environments.
I’ve noticed that the robotic voice chimes in whenever there’s a firmware update, which is great for staying informed, but it would be fantastic if users had the option to disable this feature or at least adjust the volume. I know that some users might prefer to stay updated without the auditory interruptions, and having this control would make the device even more versatile for different living situations.
I’ve seen similar requests for volume adjustments on other Wyze devices, like the vacuum cleaner, and it’s heartening to see that the team is open to such feedback. I truly hope that this feature could be considered for future updates. Let’s keep the conversation going and share our thoughts!
