As a new Wyze Cam customer, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Wyze Cam v3’s capabilities. However, I’ve noticed a potential gap in the product lineup that I believe many users would appreciate— an outdoor floodlight accessory for the Wyze Cam Outdoor model.
While the v3 offers a floodlight accessory triggered by motion, it seems most users would mount it indoors or near windows, making the floodlight less essential. On the other hand, outdoor cameras are often placed in darker environments where additional lighting would significantly enhance video quality and detection accuracy.
I envision this floodlight accessory to be designed similarly to the v3’s, with a rechargeable battery and motion sensor. It would attach seamlessly to the camera, providing enhanced visuals whenever motion is detected. This feature would not only improve surveillance but also make it easier to identify what the camera is capturing.
I’m confident that there would be a much higher demand for this accessory compared to the v3’s floodlight. If anyone else shares this vision, please leave a comment so we can advocate for its release. Let’s make it happen together!
