Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with mounting the Wyze Cam Outdoor. I recently moved into an apartment where the landlord doesn’t allow drilling into the walls, so I had to get creative with the installation. I tried using some heavy-duty 3M tape, but it just didn’t hold up in the wind. The camera kept moving around, which was frustrating!
After some research, I found a great solution using a clamp-style mount that attaches to a window frame. It’s super easy to install and doesn’t damage the walls at all. Plus, it’s adjustable, so I can angle the camera exactly where I need it. I’m really happy with how it turned out!
If anyone else is dealing with similar restrictions, I’d recommend checking out clamp mounts or suction cup options. They might not be as permanent, but they get the job done without any damage. Let me know if you’ve found other creative solutions for outdoor camera mounting!
Best regards,
