Wyze Cam Outdoor Range Improvements and LED Strip Flicker Solutions

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experiences with my Wyze Cam Outdoor and some LED strip flickering issues I encountered. First off, regarding the Wyze Cam, I’ve been trying to extend its range without purchasing additional base stations. My mesh network covers the entire property, but the base station barely reaches across my small house. I’ve read about using Wi-Fi extenders and placing devices strategically, but I’m still experimenting with the best setup. If anyone has tips or tricks for maximizing range, I’d love to hear them!

On another note, I recently installed some LED strips and encountered flickering issues at lower brightness levels. After some research, I discovered that ensuring a stable power supply and using high-frequency drivers can help mitigate this problem. I also found that parallel wiring and using bypass modules can make a significant difference. If anyone else is dealing with flickering LEDs, I’d recommend checking the power supply and wiring configuration first.

It’s amazing how these small tweaks can make a big impact on the functionality of our smart home setups. I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you’ve picked up along the way!
