I recently noticed an issue with my Wyze Cam Pan v3 when using it for wildlife monitoring in my yard. Whenever an animal gets too close to the mounting pole, the view becomes washed out due to infrared light reflecting off the camera’s surface. This happens whether the camera is mounted right side up or upside down. Tilting the camera too far vertically, especially in low-light conditions, exacerbates the problem. I tried adjusting the camera’s position and even considered using a flat black decal or skin to reduce the reflection, but these solutions haven’t been effective yet. I’m hoping the community might have some innovative ideas or workarounds to address this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
