I’ve been using the Wyze Cam Pan V3 for a while now, and I wanted to share my experience and some tips that might help others who are dealing with similar issues. I love the flexibility of being able to control the camera manually, but I was really struggling with the constant auto motion tracking. It was almost dizzying how it kept adjusting the view on its own. After some research and trial and error, I managed to turn off the auto motion tracking feature. If you’re having the same issue, here’s what worked for me:
- Manual Control: I now keep the camera stationary and only move it manually when needed. This gives me a stable view without any unwanted adjustments.
- Motion Sensing: While I turned off the motion tracking, I kept motion sensing enabled within the fixed field of view. It’s perfect for notifications without the camera moving around.
- App Settings: I found that the settings menu can be a bit tricky to navigate. If you’re having trouble finding the right options, try dragging the menu screen up to access additional settings.
- Community Support: If you’re still stuck, don’t hesitate to reach out to the community. Someone might have a workaround or a tip that you haven’t considered yet.
One thing I’d love to see in future updates is more granular control over the motion tracking settings. For now, I’m happy with the workaround, and I hope this helps someone else who’s dealing with the same issue. Happy smart home tinkering! ![]()
