I’ve been using the Wyze Cam v3 for a while now, and it’s been a reliable addition to my home security setup. During the trial period of the Wyze Cam Plus subscription, I was impressed with how well it captured both Person and Motion events. The camera would notify me whenever someone approached the door, providing clear footage. However, since upgrading to the paid subscription, I’ve noticed a significant change in functionality. The camera no longer records Person events, only Motion events, and the Motion events seem to start late, often missing the initial moments of activity. This has made it harder to capture clear footage of individuals at the door. I’ve tried reaching out to Wyze support, but the issue persists. If anyone has encountered this problem and found a solution, I’d greatly appreciate the advice. Additionally, I’ve been experimenting with the night vision settings. While the default IR mode works, I’ve noticed that during the transition period at dusk, the clarity is much better. I’d love to know if there’s a way to maintain this level of clarity throughout the night. Overall, the Wyze Cam Plus has been a solid choice, but these issues are worth addressing to fully leverage its capabilities.
