I recently noticed that my Wyze Cam was recording with a lot of static, making it nearly unusable for clear audio. After some research and troubleshooting, I found that switching to the RTSP firmware made a world of difference!
Here’s how I fixed it:
- Switch to RTSP Firmware: I updated my Wyze Cam to use the RTSP firmware instead of the default one. This change improved the audio quality significantly!
- Check Placement: I also made sure the camera was placed in an area with minimal background noise, which further enhanced the audio clarity.
