I’ve been using Wyze Cam v2 and Wyze Cam Pan for a while now, and they’ve been great. However, I recently ran into some issues with the microSD cards that I wanted to share and see if anyone else has experienced the same. Issue 1: My Wyze Cam v2 stopped connecting when the microSD card was full. It had worked perfectly for three months, but after the card filled up, the camera wouldn’t connect via the app. Removing the microSD card, formatting it, and re-installing it fixed the issue temporarily. Issue 2: When trying to format the microSD card via the Wyze app settings for my Wyze Cam Pan, I kept getting an error message: “Operation Failed.” I had to remove the card, format it on my computer, and then re-install it in the camera to resolve the issue. I’m curious if others have faced similar problems and if there are any workarounds or solutions to prevent these issues from recurring. It’s my understanding that when the microSD card is full, the oldest footage should be overwritten automatically, but this doesn’t seem to be happening consistently. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
