Hey everyone, I’ve been really impressed with my Wyze Cam V2 cameras, but I’ve been wondering if there’s a way to watch playback and live monitoring directly on my PC. I’ve checked the Wyze app, but it seems limited to mobile devices. Does anyone know of a workaround or software that can help me achieve this? I’d love to have more flexibility with how I monitor my home.
On another note, I recently had a fun DIY project where I built an outdoor mount for my Wyze Cam V2. I wanted something durable that could withstand the weather, so I went to my local hardware store and picked up an electrical conduit box. It was pretty affordable, around $8, and it came with caps for the unused holes. I used some plexiglass for the front to keep the camera protected and drilled a hole for the power cord. I even added a rubber plug to seal it properly. To mount it, I drilled a hole in the top and screwed it to the eave. It turned out great for a quick project!
