I recently upgraded my Wyze Cam v3 to the latest firmware version 4.36.10.3406, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer! After experiencing some connectivity issues and occasional video glitches, I was hesitant about updating, but the release notes promised some much-needed improvements.
The update process was straightforward—just a few clicks in the Wyze app. Once done, the difference was immediate. The video quality is now crisp and stable, and the new holiday AI detection feature has added an extra layer of security during this busy season.
One of the standout features for me is the dispatch button. It’s incredibly handy for quickly sending live footage to my phone or sharing it with family members. Plus, the enhanced security with two-factor authentication gives me peace of mind knowing my cameras are well-protected.
I’m also impressed by how responsive the app has become. No more lagging or buffering issues. It’s clear that Wyze put a lot of effort into this update.
